Wedding Services

Wedding Photography

  • Competitive and fair pricing. You will find my pricing is in line with the majority of other photographers in the Charleston, South Carolina area.

  • Initial phone call. I want to learn about you and your goals for your wedding photography.

  • An in-person meet-up to get to know you and your partner better.

  • Endless emails answered promptly. I email back and forth with wedding clients an average of 50 times per event.

  • Timeline and planning advice. Email or call anytime. I have been photographing weddings for 15+ years in Charleston and beyond, so I have a wealth of knowledge, and I'm always happy to help.

  • Vendor recommendations. There are so many wedding vendors in Charleston that are unbelievably talented and hard-working it can get overwhelming. If you're having trouble finding the perfect match, I'm happy to point you in the direction of vendors who match your personality, wedding style, and budget.

  • Digital contracts, payment options through Venmo

  • Digital invoice sent once I receive your contract and deposit so you can budget your wedding expenses.

  • An in-person or over-the-phone meeting with the couple one month out from the wedding date. I want to learn about your family that will be attending the wedding and how best to photograph them in groups. I also want to go over your wedding day timeline.

  • I have a wedding information form. I would love for you to complete it before the wedding. This is something I read the week of your wedding carefully and again on your wedding day. It tells me about your family, wedding party, timeline, and details that need to be captured. Click below to access the form.

On the Wedding Day

  • I arrive on site 1 hour before start time. This allows me time to unload equipment, meet with second photographers, and network with your other vendors. If time permits, I will start photographing early as well.

  • Calming personality. You can ask any of my friends or past clients. I am naturally calm, patient, and have a glass-half-full personality. As you can imagine, wedding days can be stressful, and this trait has always served my clients well.

  • Back up equipment, times three. I have several camera bodies L series professional lenses, and flashes. They are all regularly professionally cleaned and serviced at the Canon Factory Center.

  • Dress professionally. My second photographer, assistants, and I dress professionally in all black. We are not there to be noticed or call attention to ourselves.

  • We come prepared. For a large wedding, my packing list includes a ladder, tripod, light stands, reflectors, a styling board, an abundance of extra batteries, and light modifiers.

After the Wedding

  • A sneak peek of 5 or more wedding day highlights within 48 hours of your wedding. You can share these with your close family and friends or on social media or use them to print thank you cards.

  • Images narrowed down to the best. Repeat images, pictures with your eyes closed, and awkward facial expressions are eliminated. I give you an average of 75 images for each hour I shoot.

  • Images are color corrected and enhanced slightly. I do not use trendy filters. I want your images to be crisp, bright, and colorful, similar to what you would find in a magazine. I believe your wedding images should look timeless.

  • Twenty-five percent of your images will be converted to black and white. Images that have a classic feel or images that have distracting colors will be delivered in B&W.

  • I send you an online gallery for viewing and ordering prints within six weeks of your wedding. Your images are separated into categories: getting ready, ceremony, portraits, and reception. That way, the photos are easy to locate.

  • I provide a pin code for you to download the non-watermarked digital files directly to your computer. You can share the pin code with your family and friends too.

  • The online gallery provides an abundance of printing options: square prints, canvas, matte board, framed prints, calendars, photo books and albums

  • Access to your online wedding gallery for several years. So you can order photos for an anniversary or when you are more settled a year or two down the road.

  • Wedding albums and books are available through RedTree, one of the top album companies in the US. They offer an abundance of cover materials and embossing.

  • I personally design your layout using your favorite images or I can pick images for you. I will share the layout with you, get your input, and make changes before sending it to the printer and binder.
